Chances are if you've been on any social media platform in 2024 looking at something to do with C8 Corvette track parts, you've seen the AMT quick release splitter. Oh you missed it? Well follow these links for a couple of videos of it in action:

Every part is machined from billet aluminum. All the pieces bolt in to readily available stock mounting locations, with the exception of the front mount structure. You will need to install a couple of Rivnuts in the front crash beam, remove or modify a couple of plastic underbody trays, but other than that, it's a pretty plug n' play installation. Total install time should plan for about 6 hours if you're taking your time, but it's a small amount of time spent to be able to take it off in 6 seconds! The quick release latches are good for 700lbs each, and through our wind tunnel testing we've concluded the maximum safe speed for this splitter attachment method is about 275mph. So keep it under 250mph to be safe and you'll have no problems.
