Developed through an intensive engineering partnership between Zebulon Motorsport and Hurley Racing Products (HRP), this comprehensive carbon fiber body kit represents a total reimagining of the iconic Elan DP02 platform.
Originally designed for the IMSA Lights spec series, the DP02 platform was historically limited by a spec design that did not prioritize optimal performance. Our objective was to modernize the aero-package, translating years of track-side experience into a refined, high-performance solution.
Engineering Excellence
The development process began with a full 3D scan of the chassis and body, establishing a precise baseline for Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis. Zebulon MSC conducted extensive aerodynamic iterations, resulting in a design that achieves a significant reduction in overall drag while concurrently increasing aerodynamic downforce.
Following CFD validation, we utilized full-scale foam modeling to verify critical clearances and ensure seamless integration. The final components are precision-laminated to meet the rigorous standards of modern racing, delivering a combination of structural integrity and weight savings that provides a distinct competitive advantage.
Proven Performance
The efficacy of this kit was definitively demonstrated upon its debut at the 2020 "Cat in the Kettle" at Road America, where it qualified on pole and secured overall victories in both Saturday and Sunday races.
